Pet Ultrasound
Ultrasound examination is a non-invasive way to explore the architecture of most internal organs. It provides valuable information and assists in finding diseased and abnormal organs and tissues. Further minimally invasive steps such as ultrasound guided fine needle aspirates and biopsies can lead to a specific diagnosis. A high-end ultrasound machine with a wide range of functions and transducers is available at Pet PB. Dr. Mayer-Roenne has a special interest and many years of experience in performing and interpreting ultrasound examinations. She also received specific training from board certified radiologists and cardiologists during the years of her internal medicine residency.
